In 2002, after 14 years with NORSK SENGETØYLAGER in Norway, our Norwegian brand changes name to simply JYSK. The change of name on the facade took four weeks for all Norwegian stores at the time.

In November 2007, it was now possible to check out the full JYSK assortment in Denmark on a webpage. It was not possible to buy products, but the customers could research the assortment before visiting a physical JYSK store. After the roll out, the webpage was also introduced one after another by the other JYSK countries.

Nordic Mood   Nordic Mood

After a one-year test in nine JYSK countries, the Nordic Mood exposure in stores show great results. For instance, the bench VANDSTED sells four times more in stores with Nordic Mood than without the exposure. Therefore, it is decided to expand Nordic Mood to all JYSK countries.

- As part of our support for cancer research, JYSK and Lars Larsen Group are donating 1 million kroner to the Danish Cancer Society, which has just held its annual fundraising show Knæk Cancer for the 14th time in collaboration with TV2.
