On the path towards omnichannel, JYSK successfully implements Unified Commerce in the first store in Portugal.
The Guia-Albufeira store in Portugal is the first to implement Unified Commerce.
The teams were prepared for the change thanks to the training they previously received, and their feedback on the implementation has been very positive.
Thank you all for the spectacular preparation, motivation and execution! We can affirm that the implementation of Unified Commerce in our first store is a super success.
We continue to advance unstoppably.
- Hector Torres | Retail Manager, JYSK Spain and Portugal
With Unified Commerce, our customers benefit from new services that improve their shopping experience, while our teams have more efficient tools that make their daily work easier.
A milestone
The store in Portugal is the first in the former DBL Region to make the switch and it therefore marks an important step towards achieving omnichannel.
“It’s a milestone for sure. The implementation of Unified Commerce in the Guia-Albufeira store has been a great success, and we look forward to implementing it in a lot more stores in Spain and Portugal,” says Karsten Ellehauge Haag, Project Manager, Software Development.
The work with implementing it will continue at full speed until summer. The goal is to be done with all the Portuguese stores before the summer holiday, while the Spanish stores take a bit longer, as there are five times as many.
If all goes well, France and Austria will also start implementing Unified Commerce in the fall.
